The part number quoted is the standard Upright hood star. A210 means it is for the W210 E-Class, and will fit any car with the hood divot that looks like this... Take off your flat badge and look for this...

I have a 2014 E350 and I can use either the emblem or the star they both fit into the hole but if you have the star in the grill and on the hood it is a bit much.
luckily I don't have a star in the grill, I really would miss the star on the hood, for many reasons, my sons 2015 does not have a hood star and it bugs me immensely.

I believe to install and take off you need a special tool. it is a cheap tool i bought on ebay years ago. you will have to look up on google how to remove star on hood of Mercedes benz and it should give you the tool part number.

Open the hood and look under the location where the hood ornamants (flat or upright) are attached. The only tools needed to remove/install an upright star are the standard issue, Mk1 Thumb, and Mk1 Index finger (see upper left)...
