W212 Wagon rear washer nozzle parts

I used the rear wiper-squirter on my '11 wagon yesterday and, though functional, it was also dripping into the rear cargo area.
I pulled the lift-gate trim today and at the top of the tailgate, the water line goes into a plastic connector that seems to have cracked. Drip, drip.
Anyone have guidance on identifying the parts between the hose and the washer nozzle? I've spent half an hour looking around the various parts providers and ebay.
No, I didn't take a picture. Mostly because I'm an idiot and the phone was *right there*. But I can take the trim out again and get pictures of the parts I'm trying to replace.

Hmm... Thank you for the quick response.

Definitely not that. It might be part 100 in the diagram, 212-860-03-47, the actual nozzle, but I can't find anything but a silhouette drawing of one. See: https://www.mbonlineparts.com/oem-pa...zle-2128600347

I'll take the wing off the rear and get a real visual.

So Im off to buy a replacement.

Thankfully, it was shockingly easy to get to the part. A plastic trim tool then fingers to pop the lower panel, then fingers to pup the upper window trim, remove 4 10mm plastic nuts, disconnect the brake light wire and the rear wing was in hand. From there, 3 t20 screws holding the LED light bar to the wing, a little pressure and up it came.

)I have a similar problem with my tailgate screen washer. Water dribbles out of the nozzle but also comes out of the back. My question is? Is there a blank to the rear of the head as when I put my finger over the rear the water then flows correctly . I’ve attached a photo of the nozzle .

there's only the single part in the parts catalog, no extra plug bit, so, probably best to replace with new.

Nozzle problem

Thanks for your reply, I’ve now ordered a replacement part , there must be an internal failure in the nozzle. I was tempted to just block the open end, it operates ok when I do that but who knows what problem that could cause if I operate it while frozen.

Wow, great info. I have the same issue with the "internal shower mode" function. Other than what has already been written, any tricks or advice for getting to this rascal?

I cannot begin to thank you enough for the information you provide to this forum. I've lost track of the number of threads I've read where you have chimed in with oem information that is otherwise tricky to get ahold of. It doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you

Finally got around to replacing mine today. No way I could have done it w/o @konigstiger help in sending me the disassembly diagrams. Instructions from MB should read "pry until you think it's going to break and then keep prying". Merry Christmas.

Thanks for this thread, helped me sort my issue out too.

For some additional info. The pictures posted above are missing a small ball bearing. It seems if the ball bearing has come out of the tube at the back of the unit which causes the problem. No idea why, but after playing about with it after stripping it down it makes the difference. The ball just dropped out when I was taking the spoiler off and I thought it odd as it's not the sort of place you find a ball bearing. It does seem an odd solution but for whatever reason it appears to be the solution for such a small, but annoying issue. Three years on mine
