W212 Wagon rear washer nozzle parts
I pulled the lift-gate trim today and at the top of the tailgate, the water line goes into a plastic connector that seems to have cracked. Drip, drip.
Anyone have guidance on identifying the parts between the hose and the washer nozzle? I've spent half an hour looking around the various parts providers and ebay.
No, I didn't take a picture. Mostly because I'm an idiot and the phone was *right there*. But I can take the trim out again and get pictures of the parts I'm trying to replace.
Definitely not that. It might be part 100 in the diagram, 212-860-03-47, the actual nozzle, but I can't find anything but a silhouette drawing of one. See: https://www.mbonlineparts.com/oem-pa...zle-2128600347
I'll take the wing off the rear and get a real visual.
So Im off to buy a replacement.
Thankfully, it was shockingly easy to get to the part. A plastic trim tool then fingers to pop the lower panel, then fingers to pup the upper window trim, remove 4 10mm plastic nuts, disconnect the brake light wire and the rear wing was in hand. From there, 3 t20 screws holding the LED light bar to the wing, a little pressure and up it came.
)I have a similar problem with my tailgate screen washer. Water dribbles out of the nozzle but also comes out of the back. My question is? Is there a blank to the rear of the head as when I put my finger over the rear the water then flows correctly . I’ve attached a photo of the nozzle .

Merry Christmas.
For some additional info. The pictures posted above are missing a small ball bearing. It seems if the ball bearing has come out of the tube at the back of the unit which causes the problem. No idea why, but after playing about with it after stripping it down it makes the difference. The ball just dropped out when I was taking the spoiler off and I thought it odd as it's not the sort of place you find a ball bearing. It does seem an odd solution but for whatever reason it appears to be the solution for such a small, but annoying issue. Three years on mine
