Bluetooth Audio SKipping
All,
Sorry if this has been asked. I searched the forum and could not find it anywhere. Please help if you can find a thread on it.
My car recently started skipping my Music via bluetooth. I can talk on my phone just fine with blueooth but when i play music it now skips like a scratched CD. My command knob stopped working also. It only works side to side and no longer functions when i turn it like a clock.
Thanks
MKY

The latter issue is likely the command knob shaft, search for it. The repair is buying an aftermarket aluminum shaft to replace the broken plastic one. The former issue, which car is having the issue? Have you tried resetting phone and/or re-pairing the BT connection? On ours ('11 E350) the music sometimes doesn't want to resume after a phone call... the BT streaming is a bit clunky on the older NTG 4.0 command unit in our car.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into the knob fix you mentioned.
The car is a 2010 E-350 4Matic. I have tried all bluetooth resets wipes etc. The phone works fine to take a call but Audio now is skipping constatnly. I cant even listen to 1 song anymore. It worked fine for last 4 years. It also works perfectly fine with my phone on our 2015 GL-350 without issue.

Maybe you need a software update on the command as that fixed issues for one member. Our 2011 doesn't allow BT streaming of music without a BT MMI adapter. So your's being a 2010, I'm surprised you can stream, if you haven't already had a software update or BT device.

Did you manage to find a fix to this I’ve got an e350 internal Bluetooth has worked perfectly up until yesterday and now I’m getting the same issue, I’ve tried to factory reset command system also disconnected phone numerous time but I’m still getting this issue 😩😡😡

Finally found the solution!!
Try to unpair your Bluetooth, erase it from the car, and also erase connection from the phone. Restart your phone and pair Bluetooth again. While pairing search from the phone for the device (instead of searching from a car) similar as I demoed in my video: How to pair Mercedes with your phone.
found it on mbzmaster website.
