What is required, and has anyone done this?
Thanks

I bet Konigstiger could help save the day!
wait a minute...your bio says Spokane, but that car appears to be in the Nassau Bay/Clear Lake...I know that neighborhood/Bayou as I grew up very close to that area
have you relocated recently, or is that not your E550?

Ebay kits are kind of flimsy and I've read that the tips are prone to rust.
From what I remember, here's the parts needed with part numbers and price:
AMG Diffuser
part no. 212-885-31-38 ($157.00)
Diffuser trim (3 pieces) - these are for the black trim. I don't have the part numbers for the chrome version
Right part no. 212-885-54-21 ($102.00)
Left part no. 212-885-53-21 ($99.00)
Center part no. 212-885-50-21 ($100.00)
Diffuser hole covers - "cap" (2 pieces)
Left part no. 212-885-11-24 ($9.00)
Right part no. 212-885-12-24 ($8.00)
Tow hook cover lower bracket
part no. 212-885-02-56 ($7.50)
Tow hook cover
part no. 212-885-09-26 ($50.00)
Diffuser support bracket
part no. 212-885-66-14 ($53.00)
Exhaust tip brackets (2 pieces)
Left part no. 212-885-67-14 ($35.00)
Right part no. 212-885-68-14 ($35.00)
AMG exhaust tips (2 pieces) - I don't have part numbers and IIRC, they're in the neighborhood of $350-500/ea
However I believe these are the part numbers - confirm before you buy
Left part no. 231-490-01-27
Right part no. 231-490-02-27
Rivets (3) part no. 003-990-94-97 ($4/ea)
Here's a pic of my retrofit

1)Now I have a 2014 E550. My original plan was just to leave the entire exhaust system intact and just swap out the factory mufflers for AMG mufflers and then do the AMG diffuser with AMG tips To give the same look as EuroDriverSD and Amr_c63 I like the way their cars look. I just received this car and I am not one to do a hack job on anything I do not mind spending the money on factory mufflers but I did not envision myself paying thousands of dollars for an OEM Carbon fiber diffuser, I wouldn't mind trying to skimp on the diffuser, But I don't mind paying for the mufflers,
2)Also I've noticed many C 63 and E63 owners doing muffler delete is that just to get obnoxiously loud sound because I am not looking for any drone and speaking of doing deletes is it best to leave the cats and the resonator when you install the E 63 mufflers
3)I have also read about people gutting the mufflers? any thoughts
I currently have an eight month old so being able to respond this quickly is a very rare thing so I could appreciate any help in tracking down and locating the parts necessary I hope this gives an idea of what I'm looking for

The AMG diffuser and tips can be installed with the stock mufflers - that's what I did. Also, I assume many of you know that you cannot install the AMG tips on the stock (non-AMG) diffuser.
As far as the OEM carbon fiber diffuser, it's my understanding that it can't be ordered standalone and the one I have seen for sale was crazy expensive. The stock AMG diffuser comes in black - I had mine painted.
I'm going to try and find my receipts to update my previous post with part numbers.

The result? Fantastic. Previous posters are correct - the twin turbos muffle the sound considerably. There is very little change at low rpm's (especially while cruising on the highway). You can hear more of a rumble but that's it. It does not drone and the effects of the muffler delete are better noticed when in the higher RPM ranges. Especially when the tranny rev-matches 5-3 or 3-1 downshifts. You get an AMG bark and pops.
I highly recommend the mod. It's nowhere near as loud as my old CLK 350 with a muffler delete (3.5L V6 NA) but it gives it a truly expensive-sounding AMG rumble.
This is how the car should've come from the factory in my opinion.

side note: EuroDriverSD
I followed your part list exactly except for the black trim and ordered the chrome trim

I had the work done by a body shop but I did study the installation procedure and it appears very basic. If you look at the new parts, it should become rather self-explanatory - it's a few bolts and 3 rivets.
Start by removing the exhaust tips and their brackets, then everything should become apparent from there on forward

I do have a question about the rear center bracket that houses the sensor for the hands free trunk opening it’s figure 20 on the pdf will I be able to just reuse mine instead of transferring everything to the new one. I guess I’ll find out this weekend now that I know it’s just a matter of a few more rivets either way. The install does seem pretty straight forward. Amd once I have everything taken off I’ll just shoot over to the Benz dealership and grab more rivets.good thing they are only 5min away
which brings me to my next question do I need to use this high dollar $$ rivets from Benz or can I just use ones from Lowe’s, coincidentally I already had some that were the right size but the diameter of the flange/washer part was not as large so I was thinking of going back and getting a larger size since a pack of normal rivets is so cheap??

As far as the rivets, you should be fine with generic ones. Several others have suggested doing so as the Mercedes ones are nothing special and the price is ridiculous
I have a 2014 e350, i first did a muffler delete but it was a little too quiet and smooth after i did a secondary cat delete which was great, right now i have everything off and hve resontors where mty secondary cats were because i have a stage 2 tune from project a, if you just want to do exhaust do muffler delete and secondary cat delete.
