"Introduction into service manuals" for E550

Question "Introduction into service manuals" for E550
I stumbled across these two manuals for the E63
"Introduction into service manual" for E63(W2212)
and
"introduction into service manual" for M157 V8

Now, do such manuals exist for the E550 and the M278?

If so, I'd love to see them

I haven't found those for the M272 or M273 in WIS. I did find a MB document for the M272, not as extensive, thru google search.

Their in WIS/WSM (WIS Service Media), but that doesn't work on my VM EPC/WIS software. I pull it off my Xentry laptop...

ahhh. I've noted the datacard function is broken on my VM too, I bet these are things that need to 'phone home', and the VM has no actual internet connection intentionally. luckily, I'm paying the $75/year for EPC (when you own 3 25 year old mercedes, thats worth it...) so I can get data cards there.

The data card function works with my copy of EPC/WIS VM... maybe just who provided the "clone" and how they set it up.

hmmmm, I *did* turn off the network in my VM (there's a virtual NIC but in Virtualbox I have it 'disconnected' because I'm kind of security paranoid about 'other peoples VMs'). maybe thats whats keeping 'data card' from functioning

Datacard function is still working on mine too. The database is old though. I think MB updated their system for EPC, haven't played with the new version yet.

EPC isn't actually EPC anymore, its "XEntry Parts Information" that I access on https://aftersales.daimler.com with a subscription.

yea it was $75 when I last renewed for a year. but thats just for USA, I think its different in other countries.
