Talking Custom Plate Ideas?
I live in Florida, and was thinking about getting a custom plate.

Any1 got any good ideas? Has to be 7 characters or less. W212 Sedan

Just wasnt sure if you guys had any clever ideas for stuff related to Mercedes. I was thinking maybe a word in German?

I apologize, I've been using them interchangeably. What is the difference between a 'custom plate' and a 'vanity plate'? Is a vanity plate not a customizable license plate?

There is no difference. The terms are used interchangeably. Although verbiage that sets onself apart (above) others is seen by some as vanity.

I always liked personal license plates.
Back in CA I was putting my last name with numbers and reached #4.
In NV I choose specialty Las Vegas plate with personal lettering.
Since LV plate allows for 5 characters only, my last name would not fit, so I put my "KRIS 1" on sedan and wife nickname on Sprinter.
Now when I pull to campground or hotel, I remember my license plate
