Guess I'm not bright

Okay I have read through the obvious posts related to this, I am very new to mercedes ownership so maybe I'm just nervous about tapping the wrong thing, but here is my question. I have a 2011 E550 4matic, I have tapped the rear amp input from the speakers to power my sub, it sounds good but I would like a bit more bass, so I have an amp, but for the life of me I cannot find a fuse in the rear fuse box that will work for the on/off power, and I was hoping to find a constant power in the rear so I wouldn't have to run the power all the way to the front (I know being lazy here), can anyone tell me exactly what fuses to tap? I tried fuse 69 which the diagram says is the rear amp from the factory but it didn't work for aux either, any help (feel free to laugh as you inform me) would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if you have a trunk cigarette lighter socket, but I do on my 2012. I tapped on that fuse with a adapter kind that splits the one there (so I don't have to splice on the wiring on the car).

That is awesome. My first Benz was the same car! Did it come with the sport grill or did you install that? I STILL have a black one just like that ha! Tell us some more about the deal you got and miles, options etc! Enjoy the ride!

Nah it came witht he original grille (I'm assuming) I installed that one and the flat emblem hood ornament. I fixed the command knob (thanks to these forums replaced the plastic with the metal). I have been a Mustang guy my whole life, always loveed Mercedes but always heard how exspensive it is to fix one blah blah (all southern U.S. propaganda lol). Finally found this one with about 130k miles on it for a good price and since it's non turbo I though here's a great chance to dive into Mercedes without being in over my head (so far so good). Other than that I have tinted the windows, ordered new rims, fixed the intake hoses and added tires and brakes, and did a muffler delete nothing too bad. Once again these forums have been life savers for me, if I could only figure out my AMP issue I'd be golden lol.

Welcome. Glad someone reads the old threads. Have you done the motor mounts yet and did you do the oil separator/oil breather cover yet?

Nope and something tells me I have missed some threads, so are you talking I should install an catch can? or is that something I'm just missing lol? Also I am guessing the motor mounts wear out fast on this model? I know the previous owner was an older gentleman who bought for luxury not speed (not sure why you buy a 5.5 litre for luxury) so overall the motor has been strong. Is there anything else you're able to maybe save me some heartbreak and trouble looking out for? I see the youtube and review sites where 5 people say I bought the worst year mercedes and others praise the W212 even in my year. I'm open to any tips anyone wants to give.
Also so far everyone I have interacted with on here has been terrific so great community to be in. Mustang "communities" are typically a very quick argument about fox body vs everything else, and what wheels I SHOULD have put on and so on and so on, some support but mostly bragging and boasting. Nice to not find that here, due to my preconceived notions from early life, I have been a tad timid with the Benz , afraid if I break something it might be beyond my repair, feel better about that now with a strong forum and people.

The grill is aftermarket, only the coupes/cab come with it. I have my original sitting around.

Stock.
