Any pigtails connectors exist for cam shaft position sensors?

Regarding manifold oil issue contaminating the PCM thru wiring, I've installed the pigtails to the 4 camshaft magnets. They are a 2 wire. The two cam shaft position sensors are a 3 wire. Does anyone know if pigtails exist? If so, what is the part number and purchasing source? Thx.

Pigtails exist. Part numbers are posted on this site. Search function will find them.

And the permanent fix for oil in the harness is new cam position sensors and new cam magnets. 8 pieces replaced. Pigtails were the first field stopgap fix.

I hadn't noticed the difference between the magnets and the sensors. You are correct, the magnets are two connector while the sensors are three connectors (as shown in my image)
I installed the harnesses on my magnets - part numbers in this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...age-issue.html

My sensors are clean and clear so far, so I didn't look for those harnesses.

If you find a part number for the harness, post it here for completeness. Thanks.

That picture is how they look like right now? If so you got oil on the connector.

Hmm ... I wiped them off and they were clean with no sign of oil. They may appear a little wet since I sprayed contact cleaner on the connector. I sprayed off all the connectors after checking them.

The oil travels thru the holes in that connector. If you have not swapped those sensors, please get them done.

Run a q tip on those holes and where they meet on the sensor, and you may see oil on the q tip.

use some contact cleaner to degrease that and another other oil connectors. We used to call the same basic stuff 'tv tuner cleaner' from the days when TV tuners were these big rotary switches packed with components, clunk clunk throughn the 13 VHF channels.

A side note, that everyone should know.... many contact cleaners are *harmful* to certain potentiometers, like analog audio, and they make special stuff for cleaning/fixing those. I destroyed a few volume controls and light dimmers with Deoxit D seies before I realized this. you spray them, they work great for a day or two, then they are /worse/ than they were before, because the spray ate the resistive plastic that is the potentiometer. Deoxit D series and many other "contact cleaners" are NOT suitable for variable controls, they are just for switches and connectors. Use this stuff on plastic pots, https://caig.com/fader-f-series/

Yup, I wiped both connectors with a Q-tip and lint free cloths -- no sign of oil
I also sprayed them with electrical contact cleaner.
Good to know about what could happen when spraying pots.
