Any pigtails connectors exist for cam shaft position sensors?

And the permanent fix for oil in the harness is new cam position sensors and new cam magnets. 8 pieces replaced. Pigtails were the first field stopgap fix.
I installed the harnesses on my magnets - part numbers in this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...age-issue.html
My sensors are clean and clear so far, so I didn't look for those harnesses.
If you find a part number for the harness, post it here for completeness. Thanks.

That picture is how they look like right now? If so you got oil on the connector.

The oil travels thru the holes in that connector. If you have not swapped those sensors, please get them done.
Run a q tip on those holes and where they meet on the sensor, and you may see oil on the q tip.

A side note, that everyone should know.... many contact cleaners are *harmful* to certain potentiometers, like analog audio, and they make special stuff for cleaning/fixing those. I destroyed a few volume controls and light dimmers with Deoxit D seies before I realized this. you spray them, they work great for a day or two, then they are /worse/ than they were before, because the spray ate the resistive plastic that is the potentiometer. Deoxit D series and many other "contact cleaners" are NOT suitable for variable controls, they are just for switches and connectors. Use this stuff on plastic pots, https://caig.com/fader-f-series/
I also sprayed them with electrical contact cleaner.
Good to know about what could happen when spraying pots.
