The headlights on MY'14 are computer controlled by built-in modules that work in tandem.

Mechanics need a Xentry/STAR workshop equipment to diagnose and repair them. Generic scanners tend not to interact with these advanced modules....

Moisture sometimes find its way inside these units and cause expensive issues. Hopefully yours are ok.

I had the same issue on my '11 recently, but unfortunately I don't have a fix. Initially it was accurate in that the light was burned out. I changed the bulb, same message. The light never came back on. I looked around and didn't see any pinched wires or anything. I ran out of time and resolved to come back to it later. For the next few days I would get the message occasionally, but not every time I drove. I noticed the light was on when I pulled into the garage. Eventually it kept working and the message didn't come back I have a pair of LEDs plugged into the parking lights now, and knock on wood things they're working great.
