Don't know what's wrong

Hi to all, l have a 2010 e250 cdi 5spd, my problem is some of the gears a holding and l have to most of the time use the gear stick to change the gears so it doesn't rev as hard, l know drive in hot weather and with the a/c on, l have noticed that its stuck in maybe 2nd gear as I am doing 60km/h and its revving at 2000-2300, I try to manually change gears but won't respond, as l slow down to red lights and just as I'm about to brake it drops the revs and goes back to normal, when l take off it gets stuck again and it does come down if l go to say 70km/h but l cant keep doing that because here in Australia police book you for going 3ks over limit, now this is what l have done to try and fix but still does the same, l have changed valve body and conductor plate with a reconditioned factory Mercedes one, filter and oil have been changed regularly l tested solenoids and ohms are within spec , everything put into car is genuine Mercedes including atf, l have also reset adaptations ,if any body has any advise it would be greatly appreciated.

You have done a lot of good for this car!

What was wrong with it that forced you to deal with the tranny conductor...?

While I trust you've checked for active DTC's, I would concentrate on redoing the adaptation procedure to retrain your shift-points with Xentry/Star.

I can't speak directly to this engine variant, but holding elevated RPMs happens with M272 and M273. Usually it'll hold around 1500-1800 rpm (little lower on M273 V8), but with A/C ON it can be 2000-2500 at times.

Does it perform the same with A/C OFF?

I’d possibly try updating the ECU and TCU software via xentry

How hot? In the 10 years or so I've had my E550, I've only once had it happen (in the desert) where it held the gear enough for me to worry that something was wrong. Turns out this is normal, from what I read it does this to increase the transmission fluid circulation to cool down the transmission. Those types of temperatures aren't something I typically experience in the northeast.

Did dealer found any codes?
My diesels do have program who revs the engine high on 1st gear, even when I barely touch the pedal, what I think is program design to give you feeling about more power from small engine, but in following gears it comes to normal.
Than common issue on 5G transmission is contaminated pilot bushing. When was the last time you replaced it?
