How to turn off MOST/ tun on AUX input in Audio 50 APS NTG4.0?
I am looking for a solution to tun off MOST bus and turn on the AUX input in an Audio 50 APS NTG4.0 (built 2011).
The engineering mode is different from a Command APS NTG4.0 (different supplier) and a solution is not obvious.
Many thanks for your help,

I postponed the installation until this summer - so no real progress from my side. I was thinking of using the media interface in the arm rest, but I do not like installing extra hardware, taking apart the arm rest etc. when the good way is only flipping a bit in software...
I cannot find an option to turn on the aux mode or to disable MOST so that I can change it.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this working.
I'm installing a Carplay interface from Cockpit.uk for an NTG4.0 system with aux or AMI - I have the interface in the central arm console so I should be good to go.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have come that far: We both have an APS 50 NTG (yours is with a single CD drive - type 9013 - and mine comes with a CD changer - type 9014). Your firmware is newer (build 16.500 from 10 Nov 2011).
For an APS 50 NTG I only found two ways to get the sound working:
- Deactivate MOST and activate AUX at a Mercedes dealer. They will recode the head unit to match this setting (which was factory coded the other way because of the MMI option).
- Buy a MMI to 3.5mm headphone jack, plug it into the MMI port in the arm rest and modify the CarPlay adapter harness accordingly. Three wires in the harness - I think the red, white and black one - transmit the analog audio. At least in the harness of the Kremersino adapter.
Best regards,

- None of my family's iPhones can see the BT connection but my Android devices have no problems seeing and connecting to Airplay (is this an Apple walled garden thing?)
- the NTG radio plays over the Android head unit output such as Spotify
- the sound only comes from one speaker from Android unit's apps but from both with the radio
- sound at full volume is pretty tepid.
More news soon. Good luck in your quest

Having a little trouble finding enough space to site the box even underneath the glove box I can get it in there - I just can't get the cover plate under the glove box screwed back up again :-(
Still, loving the new functionality with Siri available from the steering wheel :-)
