You are using generic OBD2 scanner ...yes ?
Based on Xentry, but M276 3.0 turbo engine computer. Many DTC are the same for your M278 I am sure.
Go to https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...code-list.html
Video no 2 of 5 for engine computer.
There are a few P0236xx
Basically this P0236xx DTC means, the turbo boost data is whacky/wrong/does-not make sense ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thank you for all the info provided that actually helped a lot
Just for anyone having the same issue i found it was because of RaceChip which was installed by a previous owner he said it was not active but it looks like it was throwing some issues removing it solved the whole issue

Glad to hear you found the culprit.
Aha... so there is that dumb piggyback device called RaceChip.
https://www.racechip.com/downloads/E..._K2_ENG_V1.pdf
Sometimes I wonder, how easy people/consumer can believe this so called "TUNING", when what is being done is a sensor data cheating.
The piggyback intercept say a 10psi boost and cheat it, send it to engine computer and claimed as 8psi boost... so that engine computer will allow more boost.
The reasoning are all the same crap : Ohh OEM are always playing safe and not maximizing engine's potential yada yada, so we then maximize it
Lowering sensors reported values to cheat engine computer to allow more power is pure dumb at its finest.
