Coolant level inside reservoir?
I just added coolant, but I can’t tell if I added too much. I wanted to check before turning her on, if not I’ll have to turkey baster some out 😂. I just want to confirm if the fill line is where the black and white plastic parts meet inside the reservoir? Can I absolutely not go past this point?

More important than adding extra coolant is that you added the correct coolant.
The extra coolant may come out when the system pressure reaches the maximum pressure the cap is designed for. Hopefully it is not too dirty and stain around the reservoir.

In a proper 50/50 mix, I never loose coolant more than few millimeters depth in 20,000KM, which include 120C coolant temp at the track ( fun drive ).
If ever you remove coolant from the system, real topping up need some drive cycles....takes time to burp all the air out.

Thank you for reminding me of the floater inside, and the extra outlet below. I just went to the garage to check on the old one (I need to trash it).
Then, the extra coolant should have flowed as soon as the floater went up. Wonder why he did not see coolant under the car already.

That's black and white plastic meeting on the reservoir is the gauge I use as well when topping off the coolant.

How often are you guys changing hoses?
Mine are over 10 years old but still look / feel fine (at least on the outside).
Replacing them next week (regardless of outer appearance) due to age.
Might as well since I'm changing the coolant anyway...

Since you are changing all the hoses, I guess you are including the one at the top of the reservoir to hose at the pump, correct? Check the connection at the reservoir, likely brittle by now and probably will crumble when you start moving other hoses --> Add a new reservoir to the list.
FCP Euro has them so I'll go that route.
Thanks!
