Wireless Charging Solution ?
Well, you may ask what's this black tray to do with the W212 Forums

Let me explain: You know W212s didn't come with wireless charging pads but nowadays most cars support this neat feature . My phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra . That's quite a mouthful name to spell , right ? My phone supports a wireless charging feature but my W212 doesn't . Altough I still prefer usb cables to charge the phones when needed I also fancy the idea of having a wireless charging in my car. So, this OEM product could work this way. I have seen wireless charging pads sold in AliExpress hut I think those pads defeat the purpose of having a storage area at least you may not use the ashtray when you buy one of them.
My idea is that you may put such a similar wireless tray into the armrest and connect it via USB port that's already in the armrest but there's a catch if you do that you can't use the USB to play music at the same time because only late model NTG systems support dual USB ports
Anyway , I thought I had to share this with you
Even with the limited USB power available in the console glovebox, my phone can run ITunes/XM radio and Carplay and still charge. Using those things together drains iPhones like you would not believe.
My charging pad is made of a silicone that tends to not allow the phone to slip (with normal driving). It is important that it be centered on the pad or it won't work.
I should add that in-console glove compartment installation is really only practical if you don't plan to look at your phone while driving (should you?). With NAV and wireless Carplay, I don't need to.
