Auto services shop recommendations
Hi everyone
i have a very weird question but i don’t think it would harm to ask hoping someone may have an answer for me
i am trying to change transmission and engine mounts and i don’t have the tools nor the experience to do it myself
i was wondering if anyone can recommend an Auto shop in Columbus OH that i can trust to take my car to i did try to got to couple locations and they were afraid to do the job

Have you tried some of the sites out there that will quote you a price online? The transmission mount is easy but the motor mounts are difficult especially for the 4matic and also the E550. I'm not surprised they're afraid. There's several threads that cover it here, the key might be to get the right 16mm offset wrench that can get at the top bolts of the motor mounts. I'd check the yelp reviews after you find a shop with a decent price.

Because your car is the V8 and also 4MATIC, they have a large engine and a front differential to contend with. Because of that, you're looking at least a $1,200 bill, and that's a very conservative estimate. Don't be fooled a lot of service centers that specialize in Benz will still overcharge you. I had a local shop called Magic Benz quote me $3,500 for a MAX 2hour, (1 hour if they're a consummate professional) low pressure fuel pump job.

thank you for the reply Cleveland is around a 2 hour drive but if you can pass me the info that would great in case i gave up of finding anyone here in Columbus
