Confused about which oil filter

I have a W212 2013 E550 cabriolet. I've checked various sites including the official Mann site for reference. Everywhere is telling me to use the HU7025z filter. I Ordered 2 from amazon but when I checked the housing before I drained the oil, it's completely different. What is going on? Please help me understand this. Thanks!

I just checked the Mann website...the filter you require (which matches your present, used filter) is HU 6008z. Double check the site on your own to confirm.

7025 is for the 6 cylinders I believe. It's what I use on my M276 E350.

At first I thought you broke your spring, but it could be either. Maybe is a coupe thing (C207/A207).

Here is mine.
Amazon Amazon

This is the reason I replace using the OEM part number.

finish your oil change, change the filter later, they're durable enough just replace it once the parts come in

the coupes have a different engine code than the sedans. 966 being the coupe, 971's being the sedan despite both being M273 engines. It's for packaging reasons so they change some of the front accessories to move stuff around to clear certain brackets and whatnot

Same with me and my '16 C207 w/ M278. When I look up the filter for it most places say to use the one you bought, but the correct one is MB 2781840125
This Hengst 1761800800 is the one I like to use, it's the nice fluffy kind:

I don't trust ANYthing sold on Amazon from a Scrabble named company. "CKFIT" wtf is that? if it was sold by amazon and shipped from amazon, ok. but the alphabet soup names are mostly fly by night Chinese vendors, and they push a lot of counterfeit crap.
