Dealer just gave me a new EQB Mercedes as a loaner while my E350 wagon is in for suspension work and jeezuz is the thing fugly!
the interior looks like a cheap disco tech and waaaaayyyyy too complicated. Check out the pic below. Apologies for any seizures it may cause.
Too much eye distractions. So complicated. I couldn’t even turn down the radio volume while I turned the steering wheel cause there’s no physical knob for that. I have no freakin idea what to look at. It’s so unsettling. Ugly vents too.
had it 10 minutes and totally miss the calm elegance of my wagon.
I also own a Tesla model 3, and though I don’t like it much, it’s way more pleasant than this freaking thing.
I like Mercedes-Benz compact models' interior , interior may look funky if you choose those extravagant colors .
W212 being an upscale model feels more quality when you touch the trims or grad the handles
Guess that's what the young sophisto's want these days huh? I agree it is pretty gaudy and overdone. I do see the volume knob though.....if it's the one that says VOL.
I friend just wrecked his 15 GTI and was seeking advice about potentially purchasing an A220. I could not recommend any newer mercedes model to him in good faith knowing what I know.
LOL..my '24 GLE53 is in for a couple of things and they offered me either a EQB and a GLB450 loaner,,, I hesitated. The service guy said, "take the GLB, it's waaaay nicer!".

see! I can’t even find that f’ing button among all the eye vomit! 😂

I have a GLB250 loaner right now while my SL400 is in for repair of the passenger seat. The damned thing sounds like a sewing machine. And the dash is the same as the OP's loaner. It is a distraction, to say the least. My son's 2018 Honda CR-V is much nicer, and I suspect a better car, especially for the price difference. Can't wait to get my SL back.
