Hello, my car has adaptive bi-xenon with cornering lights and automatic high beam assist.
I want to get +12V for additional high beams (or for example ledbar). The signal is CAN BUS type. How to get a +12 wire when HB comes on?

You're in luck.... I think @S-Prihadi has gone through exactly that upgrade project with LED bar managed by a CAN decoder.

If you are in the US, such headlight is illegal on the road, but legal OFF road use.

A good CAN BUS dongle or Headlight can bus reader module itself is U$200 approx and FOB Europe, before shipping. I use this one.
https://www.xbb.se/en/xbb-dongle-xbb-powerunit/

If you are investing for an aux headlight, it has to be a good one and European approved one, where the beam pattern is as "polite" as regular high beam and not some crazy OFF road kind
of beam spread. This will be U$500 and up for a decent UK made one and not China made one.

I use this one, 530mm long which is equal to registration plate width. US$700 FOB UK. This is the DUMB DOWN version of Elite 18, which is best for my use case.
https://www.lazerlamps.com/linear-18...mark.htmlUNECE
.Approved Reg 112 (Class B Driving Light) for on-road high beam function. UNECE approved Reg 10

DUMB DOWN version of Elite 18, below :

Not in English, but take a look at the beam spread and color temperature and brightness

On a W212 station wagon with roof rack. But power is direct battery positive, don't do that. Take it at F32 prefuse box and after K2 relay, circuit 30g.

.

Nordic countries are heaven for such extra high beam, because the country due to being very north, can have very few hours of daylight only some months of the year.
Their roads outside the city is also crazy dark, no street lights. Their snow condition is also scary. So AUX high beam light is legal and popular.

The installation if you want to DIY and clean flush look will be time consuming for a W212.

This is as "flushed" as I could go.

.

If you pay people/workshop to do this, make sure the beam height is properly set to be "polite" but effective.
Read here my DIY pain : https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ion-plate.html

I will teach you where to take the power source, the proper way so that the headlight CAN BUS dongle bluetooth receiver ( main power module ) can sleep when car is "sleeping".
So no parasitic draw from the CAN BUS dongle bluetooth receiver ( main power module ) to the car battery.

If you think it is worth it $$ wise and cops in your country wont bug you, go for it.

Have fun shopping...........

CANM8 is not as smart and easy as XBB.
https://www.canm8.com/can-bus-interf...-highbeam.html

01. CANM8 need real hard wiring to the car CAN BUS wire.... not a good thing, because if CANM8 go bad for its CAN BUS, the whole piggy-back CAN BUS will/may go down.
XBB uses OBD2 dongle and listen to HIGH BEAM command which is actually available at OBD2 port when and if one knows how to "hack it" ,
no need to tap into CAN BUS physical wire and is wireless to its power relay at engine bay. So no command wire to activate the the AUX light, it is via bluetooth.
No need wire from car interior to power relay in engine bay.

02. CANMB does not connect to Apps, so it is "old".
XBB uses Apps. Its OBD2 dongle is non intrusive, it is a listen only OBD2 dongle. Can be updated by XBB.

03. CANM8 will be inside the car, thus you must send relay command wire to the relay in engine room for the AUX light.
Messy and more work.

NOTE : I do not use my AUX LED BAR with automatic high-beam of my car. I do not like using automatic high-beam albeit my headlight is the ILS LED and is the smartest one for
W212. AUX LED BAR cant create special dead zone like the ILS LED to not glare the car in front of you or opposite traffic, that is the reason... I do not want to blind opposing traffic
with my LED BAR aux headlight.

Honestly I never even bother to try automatic high-beam ever , even before I install the led bar.... I do not like important component like high beam to be automatic. I want 100% full control.

You are lucky I done all the home work. So you can enjoy it with least hassle.

Read here my own CAN BUS decoding R & D pain before I was able to track XBB.

Me happy when I found XBB

Thanx. Will Canm8 work for me? I don't need any innovation. I just want to install a Bi-Led lens with high beams.

According to their spec, YES.
I emailed them once asking , because mine is face lift and most complicated of all the headlight of W212, they never replied. Maybe it was COVID days.

As per CAN BUS assignment, facelift and before facelift, it is different a bit. You should be OK because you are not face lift version.
Best check with them because I never use their product.
