pre-emptive battery swap

Original battery was A 000 982 21 08 12V 80AH 800A it was replaced under warranty with A 001 982 81 08 12V 80AH 800A with an end date code of 5/19.
I want to pre-emptively swap out this battery so that I don't get stranded. There is no point in going to the dealer and paying high price for a battery and installation. It is an easy DIY.
But, I don't know what battery to purchase. Should I purchase a Mercedes battery at the dealership for over $400? I can go to O'Reilly, Pep boys or Costco and spend $150.
I need to know the size and group number and whether it is AGM or Regular Flooded Lead Acid.
All answers appreciated.
Additionlal question..I know that I should swap out the small battery in the trunk at the same time. But, I do not know any of the specifications or where to purchase. Amazon has similar but not the same.

You need to replace it with another AGM not a lead acid
You need a stop-start battery for the Mercedes ECO stop-start system
Mercedes use Varta batteries (German for a German car)
Expensive from MB Dealer
I use Century AGM (Australia) DIN75LH AGM stop-start battery
For the battery in the boot
you may be limited to one from the Mercedes Dealer
The battery has to have a vent hole on the side of the battery at the top
and there is a vent tube that connects to it and vents any gases to the outside of the vehicle
If gasses are just allowed to escape into the boot it will rust out the boot

The AGM from Walmart is made by Johnson which is one of the biggest makers of auto batteries. I've used the Walmart EverStart brand in many cars within the family and firends over decades ...never a hitch, not a one, all lasted well beyond their expectations! Replaced my wife's factory MB AGM with a Walmart AGM less than a year ago and it's been stellar, as has every one I've bought from them, I think I used an H8 (double check, though) which is the biggest battery that fits in its spot. Side note: Costco sells Interstate AGMs at the same price as the Walmart Everstart, but I didn't see it in time.
The Aux batt in the trunk: leave it alone till it dies. It does nothing for you that is critical ...I've had it fail twice since 2016 fwiw. All that happens is you lose the ECO start function (yay!), but also the brake hold function which I actually like. So it's not going to leave you in a lurch if it goes on you. Look up various internet sites and get that one mailed to you ...at like 1/4th the cost MB wants!
