Radio hold down parts

I had to remove the radio today which was very confusing, I stupidly removed the two screws at the top of the radio. Which in turn (I guess) whatever was beneath the screw fell into the dash someplace. So, I'm not sure how it works but the parts that were under two screws which hold the radio in place somehow (stupid design!). Does anyone know what it was and how I can get replacements?

It will save you time to spend an hour fishing these parts... sourcing odd parts is no picnic these days.

I would but, I have no idea what I'm looking for. Would be nice if I knew what these things looked like.

Awful design. I need to look at this and see if there's another way, this setup is nuts.

You know Like many I had to go fish the first one by looking at the second one.

If i recall correctly a square nut
USE A $5 TELESCOPIC MAGNET from autozone to fish ..... even with zero sight. That's what I did...

Thanks for the link!! Actually the screws I had, the part below is what fell into a deep black hole. I was able to find one that fell into the dash but, the other one as soon as I tried to get it, it was gone like worm in the dirt, GONE. But I'm not going to spend $40 - $50 on it, one holds it in place just fine.
