P1885 code questions




These cars do not like water on the carpets.
Perhaps @CaliBenzDriver may have some suggestions.
I think the communication errors- should be dealt with first.

-- I would double check oil-in-harness at
ECU, CPS, lambda.
-- if that does not pan out, then see why caused low voltage

side note, does anyone know what this box does? it just has red and black wires, the other wires are all cut.

another issue, there is a hose, PVC? of some sort disconnected from behind the engine? I can't tell when it's supposed to go. it has been leaking oil back there.
does anyone have a diagram of that? its middle drivers side back.




In your picture the standard leak is the coolant plastic elbow that feeds your heater core.

engine rear OIL leak on the driver side may be:
- vacuum pump blown check-valve ??
- Intake camshaft B2 rear plug ??
- dipstick O-ring ??
