Mercedes-benz e-class 4matic sedan 2014
2014 e350 updates
My fuse box under the hood, the fuse number 23 takes a 40 fuse but my car is rejecting it.

2. I want to install push to start .. is it possible

3. I want to install a remote to start kit
And suggestions please

W212 fuse box 23 slot fuse number 40 causes my car to smoke .. however my manual states I should use fuse 49 .. can use a lesser number like fuse 30 or 25 or 15

it's very confusing but I understand your front fusebox is burning #23: a 40Amp.

> NO CHOICE:
The fuse rating is designed to protect the circuit it's feeding.
Don't upgrade or downgrade!
Use only the original size: no more no less


> WHY FUSE BURNING:
This can be a tough question to answer!

Something's causing the circuit to use too much power.
What circuit is protected by fuse #23...?

Search for failed modules, devices or shorted wiring.


> Electronic START option :
It will be easier to add a "remote start" than retrofit a missing KeylessGo option.

Mercedes W212 computers are not plug and play... it requires programming CGW and a few more undisclosed modules.

does your car have a keyfob like this that you insert into a hole in the dash and turn ? If so, you're missing the push-to-start button that fits in that same hole, .

.

this button can be had for liek $25 on fleabay, it fits all 2014-2016 (at least) Mercedes. Note however, your keyfob has to have a good battery to use this. it will start the car in the hole manually without a battery.
