Power steering issue 2014 e350 - no error message on dash
My 2014 E 350 4-matic has started straining when I turn the wheel 70 to 100%. in parking or tight quarters. not on the road at speed. My first thought would be to check the power steering fluid level. Did not find a power steering fluid reservoir and saw something online that this car has “electronic power steering”. The car only has 65,000 miles on it so I'm hoping it's not the rack and pinion. Anybody had similar problem and what did you do to solve?

You will want to get your EPS evaluated for fault codes and ensure proper stable chassis voltage is available.
These fancy 3Phase 12VDC rack uses built-in solderless connections that help disruption.

Do you mean your engine RPM bogged down or what ?
By 2014 model it must be electric power steering and not hydraulic one.

Yes, electronic power steering. But no the RPM's didn't go down it was a “shudder” the best way to describe it. What has happened since then is I took it to the dealer and they told me it was the transfer case clutch pack failure. Or a fault code for that. They want 3259 dollars to fix it - to replace the clutch pack in the transfer case. I'm going to make a separate posting asking questions about this issue.
