2015 E 350 Wagon
Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir

Hi All.

My vehicle is a 4matic wagon with the heated screen wash system WDDHH8JBXFB119669

It is my understanding that there are two different types of washer fluid reservoirs for the model 212. One is for models without a heated reservoir, and the other is for models with the code 875 HEATED SCREEN WASH SYSTEM.

Unfortunately, the MB parts website does not tell which is which. Here are the two options:

204-869-01-00
or
204-869-02-00

If anyone could shed light on this, it would be much appreciated!

Check you VIN to confirm if you do or do not have heated. Fact is, I had it for years and years and years. I only saw a value of it with the headlight sprayers on a few former cars and in a former state (with snow). I am 99% sure that physically either will fit...just the non-heated one will not heat. (and may throw a silent or real code).

I do have the heated windshield washer option code. My current reservoir is cracked and needs to be replaced. I want to maintain the functionality of all of my car's systems.

I'm just looking for insight as to which reservoir part number is for the heated system, so I can replace my broken reservoir with the correct part.

The variable is 1408300384 more than the tank.

I'm sorry, but it seems you and I are not talking about the same thing. I'm just trying to figure out which reservoir is the right one for my car.

The FCP Euro link you sent is for the heating coil...

I just looked at two of my cars....the one with the heated washer fluid package has the exact same tank as my E63 with out. The variable is the heater for the function. That function snaps into a hole in the tank (this is I think just a cover for cars with out the heater).

This reply is to late but will help the next person...I just replaced mine on my 2014 E350 wagon with the heated windshield was fluid tank which leaked at the seam.
listed are the part # including are the grommets # since you are there just replace them and for good measure in case you destroy the rivets when removing the plastic
fender cowl I listed the part for it...you may have to wrestle that heater out of the tank a bit...but be gentle.

GROMMET for PUMP #A0009989001
GROMMET for SWITCH # A 203 869 00 98
WASHER RESERVOIR (FOR HEATED WASHER FLUID OPTION CODE 875) # 204-869-02-00

I bought a bunch of the plastic MB fasteners cheap on AliExpress though have yet to use them. I have good luck using a mini flat head screwdriver to pry out the pin first then the body of the fastener pulls right out.
