Question Choppy Tires

My front tires appear to be choppy, w/ the passenger side more severe then the driver side. (see image)

Did a wheel alignment at Les Schwab, and they said the wheels are straight & aligned.
Anyone know what else would cause the tires to be choppy?

My E350 is RWD, and the front tires typically don't wear out as fast the rear ones, so this is a bit of a surprise to me.

I've done that by driving aggressively with directional tires mounted incorrectly (they were turning backwards).

bad shocks can cause tire issues.

Bad road surface.

I would replace.

PS not much tire alignment they can do other than toe.

Thank you all for your responses.

Front tire date codes are: 6JP0622 & 6JP1822.
I bought them in November of 2023, so at the time of purchase they were ~1 year old, and they're now 3 years old...

Wow, so those are good tires with not a ton of miles on them. I don't what would cause that, but thanks for the info. I'm just as intrigued as you. I hope we come to a conclusion here!

Another thing just cross my mind is that a wrong tire pressure possibly but inner threads are worn out faster as far I know that when it happens

This manufacturer must have designed the tire with a special thin outer layer of rubber compound to save money. Looks as if you have begun to wear though that outer layer of rubber at those outer edges. Won't be long before that layer begins to come off in larger chunks and sheets. You may consider another manufacturer once you address the cars alignment.

Check the tire year of manufacture.
I seen a 6 or so years old, good brand tire has its sidewall broken off, due to age.
Yep, its like brittle rubber, BROKEN into pieces it did.All air is lost.

Inspect in detail the side walls innner side and outward side.

I had a similar condition on a tire early in my driving career (45 years ago)...

The problem was my driving rather than tires/pressure/alignment.

I was swinging into my parking spot at full lock at speed, which very quickly ground the outside shoulder off (and could chunk like that if there is sand/stone/gravel present).

At that age, replacing a tire was a significant expense, so I slowed down, and the next set of tires on the same car lasted around 30k miles with no outside shoulder wear/chunking.

Don't know if this is the issue with your tires, but it's what happened to me.
