If the vehicle has not been driven in four or more weeks – we suggest that the ignition be cycled once to initialize the process, sufficient battery voltage may be required for the software update to be initialized. Dealer can check for successful update via VMI, once successful the vehicle will be closed on a weekly basis starting 3/26.

I had this exact issue and the LCD was replaced under extended Mercedes warranty with no quibbles. The new screen feels a higher screen res. Tech did an update as well and the drivers display has a few new icons / displays.

Getting a check right rear turn signal error in my 2021 E53 sedan. The lights all function correctly and it seems to be intermittent. Wonder if there is any sort of software bulletin for this?
Not that I am aware of. Warranty repair, suggest they check harness inclusive of ground point, and replace rear lamp (could be faulty circuit board diode).

This literally happened to me for the first time last night. It never happened before. Very strange to all-of-a-sudden occur. I did update the map software last week but I wouldn't think that would have created an issue.

I asked my Canadian service manager about this recall and he said they already did this here last year. Not sure if that's for real or not.
Interestingly (and likely unrelated to this recall?), the Mercedes ME app just sent me a notification that my system had been remotely updated, but for the life of me I can't find any record in the app that tells me what was undertaken. That's happened a couple of times in the past couple of years.
