Anybody have a date as to when it will launch on MBUSA.com? I know dealers are taking orders but would be nice to see how things look instead of looking at the listing and codes in the netstar or whatever it is called system that is used to build and order at the dealer.
So got word today that the ride is at the store. My guess it is the demo for test driving so i will check it out on Tuesday. Stay tuned. Again, if anybody knows when the e will post on the web for information.
It was a nice ride. It was smooth and I had a hard time getting through all the gears (9) in sport + but got it up to 80 with no problem. This ride was by no means an expert review but can't say I would be sad owning one considering I have own an 07, 08 09 and my latest 14 e class. Have been happy with them all. She was very very light on her feet but smooth and not as grounded as my 14. In any case here are the pic and the wait continues.
Check out www.benzblogger.com. There is other good info there. This sales person was in training on the e300 when she stated the end of June in her video.
I guess we will find out this summer. Just wanted to report what I heard on her website.

Oh, I didn't mean to come off as saying you/they were wrong by any means. Just reporting what I had heard, as well.
I will be at training on Friday with complete overview and whatnot. Maybe I'll get further information to report back.
The units slated for my dealer are in production and should arrive late June. The units are bear bones with p1 and basic packages. As of today no pricing is posted on netstar yet and you can't put you name on one or order one with anything other than p1 yet. The robots and workers are still practicing.

My E300 P3, etc. which was supposed to be in production in the third decade of May is now anticipated to be in production in late July according to my sales person. I probably will not see the car until late August.
yeah, for sure something is going on and a delay of some sort is going to hold these units up. I read someplace else that an earthquake in Asia that sources the electronics or screens is backed up which could also be causing delays and read on the web has affected Porsche's. Or after some testing of mules that something last minute will hold things up. My current E is over mileage and up in 2 months and I really banked on this new E being here this month. ugh. costing me $$$

I have my PO number already issued along with the 3rd Decade of July as my build time given to me.
You should call benz and they will give you a lease extension (with miles) for the same price you're paying now until you get the car... upto 6 months. I'm currently on a lease extension myself. That way you're not paying anything over.

I've been on lease extension since 12/15. I got my PO in early April when the order banks opened up, production was set for May, third decade. Now, it looks like sometime in July (maybe). The order is still showing red in Netstar, distribution has checked the configuration and found no issue, but communication from Germany says no firm production date yet. Weird.
Yeah that's just the base starting price. I didn't see any option prices announced in that article. I'm very curious to see how much the highly publicized Drive Pilot option is going to add to that price.
