Selenite gray magno (matte gray) and white interior - does it look ugly?
I have ordered my w213 with above exterior (amg) and interior color (and matte wood trim). I am not sure, never find a photo of such combination on google/youtube. What do you guys think?

I'm sure it will look great. I have a 2011 e550 in Indium grey with the light beige interior and it looks great, comfortable in the summer. Regards. Ned.

Not a good exterior color on an E300. The matte finish looks better on a smaller platform like a C or an SLK. Just my opinion. I have Selenite on my E300, but it is the shiny metallic variety.
I also have a 2015 E350 w/Silk Beige interior + Steel Gray exterior, which is very close to Selenite Gray. I also ordered the exact same spec car as a 2016 E350 for a friend, but they chose Iridium Silver + Gray interior. To me, the gray interior feels cold and pale and doesn't do the monochromatic thing like the S550 in silver + silver wood + gray/silver does so well.
I ordered nearly the same configuration. See below...
Nice configuration! But I don't get the magno thing, does nothing for me, will be a drag on resale imo, not much demand for it, need a specific, rare buyer. Pay a premium for it, sell it later at a discount. Regards. Ned.

Personally I find the most desirable color! Always lusted for one. There arent many simply because it wasnt offered in many models. I was surprised that its offered on the E class. It looks very bad *** which is the reason that the AMG GT at car shows is invariably matte.
The first one I saw was in the gull wing Mercedes 15 years ago or so. The matte finish then started to show up on a lot of their high end $200,000 sports cars, now its drifted down to lower end models. Some like it but like I said not too many will buy it even if there was no premium for it. Just going to be a harder sell down the road, need to find the one in whatever who like it. Regards. Ned.
I have an E300 in Selenite Gray with machiatto beige interior and I love it ...my previous car was a CLS 550 in magno alanite gray ... the matte finish. I loved it except when someone keyed a door when only two weeks old and I had to repaint the entire door. Or some road debris jumped up and hit my from and hood and everything had to be painted. Or when I had to hand wash the car because you can't take it to a car wash. But man it looked sharp. I love my current car ...
Another thing to consider is the fact that almost the entire exterior of the car is now aluminum minor paint "accidents" can pretty much be ignored since rust is not an issue. The automatic car wash issue is also a non issue if you use a touchless wash even a "gentle" brush one is ok now and then. What must be avoided is not wax itself its avoiding any polishing. You can use any spray on wipe off wax you want. Meguairs Ultimate quick wax works wonderfully. Another big plus is that unless you drive the car through a mud pit it hides dirt beautifuly thus minimizing the car cleaning compulsion. The fact is matte paint is a lot easier to maintain than regular paint

There are a couple of matte grey e63's around town. They look fantastic.
