Dashboard vibrating

It's the "grill inlay" on top of the dash.
wil go back to the dealer to get it fixed, but was wondering if
someone here had the same problem and knows how it was fixed?

My car is plaugued with rattles/creaks. Same rather useless dealer has told me they can't do anything about centre console creaking which is driving me nuts. I'm 6 for 4 and my leg rests fairly heavily against the transmission tunnel and forward edge of the centre console. It creaks and groans whilst driving along, especially cornering when my leg presses harder.
But alas, "nothing we can do" is the reply. Considering changing dealer as these guys are dreadful for this sort of thing. Good luck getting yours sorted, hopefully it's limited to just the grill which seems super easy to sort out.

I have a some rattles / vibrations in my car, and one source they have found is the rear vision mirror is faulty and they are going to replace it under warranty.
I am particularly interested in this comment because my grill is slightly higher in front of the steering wheel than the rest of the grill area, exactly as stated by you and others. See photos: https://imgur.com/a/oV5616V
What happened in the end with the grill not being flush? Based on my photos, was yours looking like that that before or after the fix that Mercedes provided in this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...top-cover.html. Did Mercedes ever fix it for you because its not right to have it left that way.
Clearly its a design fault given all the information in this thread and the other thread about Mercedes acknowledging the issue and putting out a fix for it so I am curious as to getting the grill back to being flush with the dashboard and the noises going away with the fix that Mercedes put out as per the link above.
This is super helpful info for my Mercedes dealer too as I can get this fixed under warranty.
