Help re Navigation Feature

I frequently send destinations to the car, which is great if you just want to accept that destination and go when you start the car.
However, when I look at the saved destinations later, they are not called the same name as I sent to the car. They are typically saved as something like “Destination near Bideford (for example)”
Even when I go into details, there is no more useful information - just a peek at a map that is too zoomed in to be of much use.

You’d think it would be easier for the car’s navigation to just save the name you sent to the car (from the Mercedes Me app) than make up something else!

Please tell me I’m missing something obvious. I’ve just entered our destination accommodation and three different restaurants in the area and they all look the same in “saved destinations!”

I didn't even think it saved the sent destinations anywhere. I've sent ones before and didn't find them after I'd finished navigating to them when I first got in the car. But I guess it was the same issue you have with it using random names. Useful feature for one shot use but not so good to load it up for later use. At least voice entry is pretty decent so it's not a total pain to enter addresess as you need them.

there are 2 ways to send an address.

one is directly to the car.
when u start the car the address pops up and u select.
however if the car is underground it will not receive the address at all.

To do the the above, go to the app, then mobility, search address and click send. (pic ONE)

the 2nd way is to send as POI. this way it goes to a server and then to the car. in this case the address is saved in the car under POI. (in mercedes apps menu)
you can send multiple addresses in order ot create a roadtrip.

the above can only be done via the website (pic TWO).

click localise vehicule. a new (small) window opens.
within this window choose "destinations & routes". now send as many addresses as you like ot the car.
they will also show up in a list in the window itself and u can add or delete as you please.

As advise in another threat the app is much more restricted than the website, but you can use the website to create a new web based app on your phone in order to have
full functionality:

And to answer OP: a lot of the addresses I send to the car show up as "point on map"

Hi

Tried this from me app but without any error messages it dissapears into outer space and no sign of it in the navi. I bet that I missing some feature from the option list. Does anyone know the prerequisite for this working?

If you send a destination from the Mercedes app, it will be stored in “Previous Destinations” in the car, albeit with a less than useful name...

Nope, can't be found anyware. Spent 20 mins snooping around in the menues. Nothing except for the ones entered in the car.

I have only the navigation, not COMMAND, in the car.
