2018 E400 Wagon
My E400 wagon is on the Tamerlane. It has been sitting in Southampton for since the 16th...slated to depart on the 17th and now it's pushed back to the 21st. Sigh...Anyone else on the Tamerlane?

Robert, it stops in New York first on the 21st, then on to Baltimore on the 22nd, departs on the 23rd. According to what I read about the port they are closed 24 & 25. I wonder if they can clear customs, get through the VPC and then ship to my dealer in NY by the 39th.. will check with my dealer on Friday..

i seriously doubt that can happen as from my understanding the car sale counts when car is unloaded so I don’t see an incentive for extra time paid by MB to get cars off the port property

Nothing happens on the 39th.

Every car I've bought takes at least a week to clear US Customs and the VPC. My E300 took 3 weeks to do it last July.

I still don't show on any of the VIN checkers, but according to the SA it's at the VPC!

Just checked with my dealer, Tomar will be unloaded by tomorrow, ship should arrived at Baltimore port late today. Dealer says we should see the car by Wednesday or Thursday, depends on car carrier getting the car up to the dealer. Dealer needs the sale for December numbers, while Mercedes does not.

The Don Carlos and Tomar are in the chesapeake bay headed to Baltimore there is potential for lots of cars unloaded tomorrow. The Don Carlos hasn't picked up her bay pilot yet.

Are you guys able to live track? My ships last transponder location was pinged on the 17th so its pointless to try and track it. Is that normal?

According to my salesman they put priority on those cars that have a name on them. In the system they are priority one. The ship will have 1, 2 and 3. On,y priority one will get through the VPC and customs extremely quickly. The priority ones arriving today should be at the dealers by end of the week assuming the transporter doesn’t delay things

Mine had a name in the system so perhaps that is true.

I see your car was delivered! Congrats! Do you know when it arrived in port and how long it took to get to the dealer?

Both Tomar and Don Carlos are in Baltimore unloading so let’s see when they arrive to the dealers.

I can’t bring up Brunswick port info and vessels headed to there either. Must have a premium plan! No reported vessel troubles in the North Atlantic so I think you are ok for Tuesday docking

Mine (E400 Sedan) was on the same boat! Frustrating that we could not track, but looks like it docked earlier this morning. I wonder how long it will take to clear customs, especially since it is the holiday season...

I was frustrating to say the least! I see it's docked now. Hopefully they clear customs fast. We only have the rear spoiler for a VPC part install so other than the spoiler and random warning labels the car should be on it's way quickly. I'm down in Tampa FL so it's a short drive on a transporter once it's moving.

I would have ordered a E400 sedan had I known the sedans were ready. We didn't want a coupe. What options did you go with?

I ordered the P3 with the Night Package in Selenite Gray. I was not able to test drive the 400 before buying, but I loved the 300 so I went for it. Good luck with getting yours quickly.
