Is it the way of Mercedes's transmission or should I call the service?

The changing of gears ahould not jerk. Even in S+ mode. If the transmission is jerking, either 3 things are going on..
1) like was done to my car when I was having the same problem, the firmware on the TCU needs to be updated
2) The transmission fluid needs to be flushed, nor changed, FLUSHED.
3) the transmission what's connected to the transmiasuin, is defective .
These are the options that need to be looked at.
Unless you have the star diagnostic tool, he'll need to his car to the dealership to have them look at it. The cheapest and first step they take is to check on the version of the firmware for the TCU and they update this if they find it outdated.
To diagnose from home, is suggest buy the transmission replacement kit for fcpeuro.com (because they offer lifetime free replacement, even on normal wear and tear items like this kit) and then change out your transmission fluid and filter

With Jeep they would re-flash the transmission all the time whenever I brought my old 2014 Grand Cherokee in to deal with the same problem.
Bottom line is you should have the contactor plate, with the valve solenoids replaced.
I have a 2013 C250 W204 and I also had the jerkiness when I bought the car last year, thank God I have extended warranty on my car because I was able to get my jerkiness resolved under warranty.

you can buy the entire valve body transmission repair kit from fcpeuro.com if you are handy enough to do the repair yourself. There's also a youtube video from legitstreetcars channel where he walks you through the entire repair process, as well.
