Deleting Mercedes Me Messages from Service Menu
Shortly after I brought my car home, a little over a week ago, I started getting the Mercedes Me message shown in the first picture every time I start the car. The message does not go away from the dashboard until you dismiss it by clicking the left touchpad in the steering wheel. After a few attempts to dismiss the message I found out the message is stored in the "Service" menu (accessible when you click the left Home button in the steering wheel and sliding with the touchpad all the way to the left). This is shown in the next two pictures.
Over the last days, I clicked on the message multiple times, tried to hold buttons to reset it, to no avail. Just now, as I was retracing my steps while writing this post and for no apparent reason, the message disappeared. The Service menu now displays 0 messages. I have no idea what made it go away, maybe the message expires after one week or something. In any event, it was pretty annoying while it persisted, so if some new message comes along, I was wondering if anyone knows a consistent way of deleting it after reading it, and also if this is something others have experienced...

I get that message also. I have a Liberty Mutual device installed in my car, I thought that was causing it. The app is working, I am able to start the car, down load destinations and unlock the car. I will check with dealer's tech support guy.

Glad to know this is not some problem with the car. I do not have any third-party devices on the car. I think the message showed up as soon as I used the Mercedes Me app for the firs time. The app itself works fine, just as you describe. Please let me know if you find out more. If this happens again, the dealer tech guy may well be the next step.

According to this thread started by someone on the same issue, this annoyance may be part of the unhappiness of car manufacturers to have 3rd party devices providing services and collecting data they would rather monetize themselves:

It's unlikely Mercedes will ever remove the message. If anything, it's more likely they will lock out the OBD-II port to non-dealer devices in the future, so it's a matter of dismissing a message at every startup or removing the Automatic adapter from continuous use. I'm inclined to do the latter.

since a month or so I get a message saying I need to update my internet subscription ,
whenever I use internet radio (or other functions that use internet)
the message goes away by itself, but it's irritating especially as my subscription is fully functional

for the internet subscription (here in france it's via SFR/Vodaphone)
Without it tuneIn radio doesn't work, nor does the browser.
(The wifi itself always works but without said subscription it's of course useless)
I'll take a pic of the message tomorrow
