C1 and C2 On the Water. She departed Bremerhaven yesterday, on the ship pictured below, with a 10/20 expected arrival into Brunswick, GA! Woo Hoo!

Woo Hoo! My E450 is on the Noble Ace and from my calculations about 2 - 3 days from Brunswick, GA! You can track your ship until it gets into the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Once in open waters, you'd need satellite tracking and I can't find any free satellite marine vessel trackers. My ship hasn't been heard from for the last 6 days now.

You can try a free trial of satellite tracking at marinetraffic if you really want to follow the ship.

I thought about doing that. At this point the ship has got to be getting close to the US. My calculation is it's about 1200 miles away. At an average speed of 16 knots, that will put her at port on Sunday. Though the marine tracker that was able to communicate with the ship before she entered the open ocean, put her in port on Saturday, the 20th.

According to the port in Brunswick, they are anticipating the arrival of the Noble Ace on Monday, the 21st: http://gaports.com/port-of-brunswick/vessels-in-port
That would be 13 days from Bremerhaven to Brunswick.

According to Vessel finder, my E450 Cabriolet should be due in the Baltimore port October 23rd. Now how long it will stay for VPC is anyone's guess. I've been reading posts from very long to much shorter times now....what those times are, I do not know.

Your dealer should have marked your car as "HOT." A hot car is supposed to get priority at the VPC and get to your dealer sooner than say a dealer ordered inventory car. Speak with your dealer and ask that they make sure your car is marked Hot.

The Port of Brunswick site updated tonight to show the ship now being in port on the 24th as opposed to the 21st. I had hoped I'd be able to take delivery on the 27th, but there's less than zero chance that even it it unloads on the 24th, it could somehow make it to Tampa, 3 days later. It is what it is, but kind of bummed.

The ship (Global Highway) is scheduled to dock tomorrow at 0600 hrs in Port of Brunswick. This ship is carrying one of the cars that our local dealer has reserved for us: 2019 E450 Coupe. Once it reaches the VPC, it will take about 3 business days for the car to be "processed." It will then ship hopefully to the dealership in time to take advantage of the Loyalty Program. Otherwise, my other option is the 2019 GLE43 AMG Coupe that is waiting for release by MB USA in the next few days. Will see.

The hardest discount to qualify for with MB is the Executive Car Allowance program, but that's about it. All the other ones have ways for you and I and others to qualify for.

Perhaps, but I'll take delivery when it comes and there may or may not be any incentives available on the date I can take delivery. So you know.......bird in hand and all that stuff.

Just so you are aware it isn't hard to join any of the professional associations to get a discount. I'm not sure what the details are of the US ones but here in Canada, one can join the Canadian Bar Association (as a law student applicant) and qualify for the $1K.
