New Build VIN
How much of a lag time is there between new build car and time where the VIN will pull up in the mb VIN search? Car was built within the last few days and is at Bremerhaven awaiting a ship to Brunswick.

I can see mine on mbdecoder.com, datamb does not show it. Altough I can see it some of the options stated are messed up, apparently I have a speedshift mct 9g in my E200

This depends on what database you are referring to. If you are talking about the internet based www.datamb.com this could take six months. If you are referring to the database the EPC database that can be subscribed to for $75 per year then it usually will be in there by the time one takes delivery. I took delivery of my ‘19 S63 at the factory in Sindelfingen in November last year and it was in the EPC at the time of delivery but is still not in the www.datamb.com database since this lags a bit.
