Android Auto + Widescreen

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

When I opened the developer options in AA, it had only 1080p as max screen availability. I guess that is what most cars consider widescreen these days. Shame AA can't pull off a carplay. Apple uses all of the screen.

google and Mercedes are well suited both don't ever communicate what they are planning.
Apple carplay works fine and fills up the entire screen.

Other users with different manufacturer's show it working on their different screen shapes and sizes since the update.
How can we confirm it is a Mercedes issue. Dealers have no clue. And Android forum says contact manufacturer

Apple makes it happen so clearly it's not Mercedes. It's just a screen after all.
As many of you know, Android Auto is not quite compatible with our W213 widescreen, it only used half of the screen and the left side is an ugly AA logo.
A coupe of days ago, Android Auto released an updated with "Widescreen support for select vehicles", I ran to my car and test it and seem doesn't worked. I cannot find any list of selected vehicles in internet.
anyone was lucky enough to make is work?
