Hi,

2019 E450 4Matic. Radio was working fine. Stopped the car, turned the car off and left the car for about 3 minutes. Came back and started the car and the panel says "Tuner Unavailable"

What would cause this and how can I fix it?

Try rebooting COMAND by turning it off then restarting it. The button is on the console.

Turned car off....turned COMAND off....no luck

Did you turn off COMAND using its power button. Turning off the car will not reboot COMAND.

try re-boot...

Hold power button in for 5-10 seconds.

Weird....I got in the car and started it hoping to do the 10-sec reboot. Radio worked fine.....go figure.

Could it have been updating software?

I suppose so but nothing in the software updates section of Mercedes Me.

2012 merc amg

I got a Nav update done on my S550 and the bluetooth and media did not work for an hour or so, so weird things can happen after updates. With the E450 it's auto updates over the air so maybe that was it.
