Anyone notice that voice search service unavailable
While weather service now works, has anyone noticed that local voice search service is unavailable. So, if you want to find and navigate to a nearby Starbucks, saying "navigate to Starbucks" does not work for the last several weeks..

I had the same problem and discovered that Mercedes somehow changed the voice command structure without informing customers.
Previously, the voice command was “navigate to” followed by an address or POI name. Now you use “navigate to” for addresses. For POIs you say “POI” followed by the name (such as POI Starbucks). I don’t know how this change occurred or why they didn’t tell anyone. Just hoping it doesn’t go away completely when my three year free Live Traffic subscription expires in December. So far, Mercedes is just saying that Tomtom (the supplier) Live Traffic will not be renewable and there is no further information.

Still no joy regarding Voice Command Navigation
Thanks, but unfortunately POIs are those addresses that exist in the MB hard drive somewhere in the trunk area, and are at lest 3 year old data. As I painfully found out on a recent long trip through the USA. I found many POIs showed businesses that were no longer there. The Navigate To xxx searches online and is quire up to date. I'm hoping that MB fixes this. In the meantime, I'll see if updating the COMMAND software to current latest version will solve the problem.

I’m not a techie but I’m not aware of a hard drive in the trunk. When I ask for a POI, the system appears to do an online search. It appears to know of very recent changes and additions to POIs. Perhaps someone with more technical knowledge can chime in. Meanwhile, I suggest pressing the voice command button and saying “POI (and the poi name/location). It works in my car and should work in yours.

Problem at it's simplest: go to Local Search under Connect section of top menu. Move the controller to the right menu and select the microphone. Say anything. "Sorry the voice service is not available now." I'm at 4.77.
