The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Here are some of my issues with it
- No Analog Clock
-The rear light look like a Camry (below), I think they went above and beyond with the current lights and the star dust (not sure what it is called) effect
-The Headlights look higher end in the current e class

Thanks! its a blast to drive as well. Its definitely a change of pace and exciting to drive. One would think its not necessary, but that thought changes quickly after a test drive!

My mistake. Its a Honda.
I like the current taillights because they don't look like eveyone else.
Because of the relatively smooth roads in Germany, the standard "Sport" suspension is optimized for high speed driving (100-250 kph). The USA roads are much rougher and what has been lacking in most models is carful attention to the short, quick motion of the shock absorbers. This low modulation, high frequency damping need to "blow off" shock valve pressure to a greater degree than is common for EU roads. It is also a tuning tweak that is often ignored by consecutive generations of Mercede's various chassis development programs. The first C-class suspension was awful in the back, by the W204 the sport suspension was 'spot on'. The W212 was very good also.... along comes the W213 and this problem of choppy ride in the sport suspension re-appeared. Have not driven the facelift, but this is the one area I hope was addressed.
I found the W213 Sport ride quality so objectionable I went out of my way to secure a Classic version. The Classic is not something you want to turn-in at 100mph with any hope of precision or quick control response, but it is the superior everyday suspension choice. Eventually I will fit it with a set of Bilstein B6 and have Bilstein (Polway) tweak the rear damping to eliminate this choppy ride 'feature' yet offer better high speed stability. The second axion for today is: "There is nothing like low friends in high places."
Agree, the pre refresh was a bit nicer. The new X5 has a significantly nicer interior than my 2018 but I think the exterior of my 2018 is nicer than the 2020. I really dislike the tail lights of the new gen X5.
. I definitely agree on the X5 new one is great inside, but not so much outside, BMW is having a bit of an identity crisis at the moment when it comes to styling and the driving dynamics, that's the reason I actually have an MB, I've been with BMW since the 90's and my parents had many growing up. Ever since 2012, other than the 2-series they just refuse to make a good driving car, they gave into the profits over their loyal customers. I had a 2017 540i that I inherited, and it drove like a Buick, a friend told me to try the new E53, and was shocked to see MB can make a better handling sedan than BMW, the rest is history, even got the wife to get a GLC over an X3 and she's had Bimmers for years as well.
