I really appreciate you for open my question.

I'd like to purchases 2017 e300 CPO from dealer, they suggested some package for extended warranty and maintenance package.
This car mileage is 27K and I received invoice of $3980 for 2 year extended warranty and $2650 for 3 years maintenance package,
I want to know it is good or not and all package is needed.

Extended warranties are not good financial investments for most people, most of the time. This is debated ad infinitum on this site. It is an insurance policy, plain and simple. I wouldn't purchase the extended warranty on that basis.

Try searching here for the many posts that discuss dealers who discount the MB extended warranties. The savings can be substantial.

Hi. I just purchased a 2017 E300 CPO less then a month ago. Talked the dealer down to $2895 on the 2 year extended warranty and purchased it.

I quoted a price from one of the contacts I found on the forum and the finance person straight up told me there’s no way they can match that price.

So I just bought it through the contact. And they emailed me a receipt and warranty document. Easy.

Interestingly enough, the finance person asked to see the contract (I had a PDF of it) because they wanted to see if it was the same. And it was.

the price difference was 1K or so. Maybe more. I don’t remember exactly.

Probably because in the forums at one point some of the vendors mentioned that they price $100 over their cost so for a few minutes of work, they just make $100. The dealers probably have some rule that says they're not allowed to sell it that cheap because they probably got chewed to the bone on the sale price so they have to make up some of it in the warranty. I seem to recall two years on a CPO is around 2k, at least in the extended warranty subforum.

That's it. All handled by email, pdf from dealer. Two years on top of CPO: $1,845.
