I just got my diamond grille installed recently and I feel as if the dealership didn’t completely flush the grill/hood part close enough, or am I just being paranoid?

This gap is definitely wider than what’s on my CLS. I’d take it back and make sure he readjusts it.

That's a bit wide - my 2019 hood fits a bit better, my 2017 hood fit much better. I attached a picture of my 2019 for reference. (forgive the bugs on the front of it - I am not the best at keeping it clean.)
I too had a larger gap when I had my grill replaced. I wasn’t sure if it was my own paranoia or if it was real until I visited a dealership to look at some other w213’s. I wound up taking my car back to the shop for some other work that resulted in them removing the front bumper and when they reinstalled the gap was more in-line with my expectations. It probably is a simple DIY fix, but I’m not so handy.
Thank you for your responses. So this morning I drove back to the shop where I had my grille done AND the Fletcher jones dealership (biggest mercedes dealership in the country). Both said they can't push it in anymore and that it is completely normal. At this point, I might have to drive further out to a different dealership/shop. My intuition was right.. but sadly, no one believes me

Anxx3, I expect they believe you, they just don’t want to be bothered to fix it. But a lot of dealers are like that. When I lived in CA I used a dealer 90 miles away in order to get the quality I wanted.
Jumping in here. Had the same issue after I had a grill installed, so I decided to do some research and do it myself. there are a couple of hex allen screws that are located in this area in the picture below (I did this a while ago so I forgot the actual locations).
this is how the top of the bumper actually attaches to the car by the way.
the ones closest to the headlamps are sort of hidden...anyway loosen all of them up significantly (you don't necessarily have to remove them) then while simultaneously pressing in / putting pressure the top part of the bumper part (your essentially pushing back that part that you want to be flush) go back and tighten everything back to spec. The bumper has some "flex" to it on this part so don't worry about breaking anything. the key is don't stop putting pressure/pressing the part because it wants to go back to the position its currently in (with a wide gap). I did this and its actually a bit better and tighter than stock.
SO essentially your pushing it back to where you want it to be and "locking" it in.

Just like EbonyCoupe43 said. Open the hood there is a long rubber weather strip on the bumper. Remove it, comes off and back on very easy. There are torx screws under it. Loosen them and push the grill in. I had to remove the rubber and loosen the screws to get mine to the correct gap when I replaced my grill. For anyone replacing their grill mark the location of the tabs for these screws before you remove them. Then when you replace the bumper you can put it in the correct position.
