I have exactly the same problem - facemask got caught pulled it out, and then the cover/door won't close. I have the L- shaped pin in my hand! If anyone could share the video/how to fix I would appreciate it!

IWC was the brand that mercedes works with to give them status(like Bentley uses Breitling)
you can get standard or IWC... both are plastic and similar quality - so its nothing more than putting a brandname on “nothing”
it looks alot better than the standard mercedes star and will go great with your wristwatch IWC if you own one:-)
you cannot get other brandnames and you cannot get it aftermarket. But you can buy it as a retrofit

Everyone asking how to put pin back in
Hi everyone, I have asked for a video on how and where the pin goes back in. I have worked out that it goes in the lid/ flap that you push to open. What you need to do is open the flap and with hold the sides of the flap with your fingers on the bottom and thumbs on top slide the top down and it will unclipped. Then you will see where the pin goes in the pic at the start of this thread. I hope this helps everyone. However I have lost my pin would someone be kind enough to measure the length of the pin? I need the long and short length please.

Hi,
I have a bit of different problem. The cover appears to making squeaking noise on bumpy road. Hard press around the lock appear to reduce the noise. It's also possible to hold the cover toward the passenger side to reduce the noise.
It was recommended to take the cover off to further narrow down the noise maker.
Could someone please send me the video? I'm hoping to learn how to take the cover off (and put it back on). hh8923 at gmail

Can the cover for the center console stowage (the one with the cup holders and charging pad) be removed without removing the entire center console? I see that removing the whole console is not that difficult, but I am wondering if I can remove the cover, only. Apologies in advance if this has already been asked an answered... (I have a 2020 W205 so I will take any advice regarding other years or models into account). Much appreciated!
