L shaped pin
Hi! I have the same issue today, the pin is stuck between the lid and USB port base, can you send me the video please?

Would there be be any chance you could share your video on how to replace the L shaped pin in the centre console cup holder lid?? Had a face mask caught in it then all of a sudden it wouldn't stay closed.
All the best from Linlithgow in Scotland

Nice useful thread. But I was taken with the picture of the IWC face on the clock. What a hoot. The non-AMG models just get a tri-star. The same electric clock. But does this mean Rolex, Patek, Vacheron-Constantin are available. I am just stupid enough to put a Rolex face on. No one would believe Patek, maybe on a Maybach.

I haven't checked in on this thread in a while...it kind of reads like a flashmob prank, but I guess this issue is happening to all sorts of owners all of a sudden.
I must confess how I ended up with the loose pin (I didn't want to publicly admit until it was fixed under warranty)...I got a damn facemask string caught back there and so I just tugged on it hard expecting to break the cheap disposable mask string but instead this pin comes flying out with the facemask intact.
I can't promise that I won't do this same thing again, so if anyone received the video from Philip Tang, could you please post it. Or send it to me and I can host it privately on Youtube.

I keep a mask with the loop over the console wheel. It doesn't hamper the control and is available quickly. It won't blow away when all of the windows are down and the sunroof is open - typical in the Florida late autumn/winter/early spring.

Could someone clarify for me is the IWC (International Watch Company) face in bO's picture a standard feature on Mercedes-AMG cars or is it an aftermarket item. If it is an aftermarket item are other watch company logos available and if so from whom. Thanks

2019 e450 first photo standard part # 2138272000. Shown in b0rderman photo is OE 2138271400 (or dare I say Aliexpress “Red Circle”). EPC shows additional replacements available: third photo AMG IWC 2138271300, fourth photo AMG IWC 2058273500.

Isn't that a hoot. I am not a watch aficionado but I recognize a lot of the names. IWC has never been on my radar screen. As I said before I would put on a Rolex face as a bit of humor. Now that the console clock is gone I guess this is a little bit of history.

you can get standard or IWC... both are plastic and similar quality - so its nothing more than putting a brandname on “nothing”
it looks alot better than the standard mercedes star and will go great with your wristwatch IWC if you own one:-)
you cannot get other brandnames and you cannot get it aftermarket. But you can buy it as a retrofit
