Hey guys I am getting a malfunction see owner's manual warning on my dash then when I go into the owner's manual it says check exterior lighting but all my lights seem to be working fine has anyone had this problem at all and know how to clear the fault ???
thanking you in advance !
anyone with an e43 who wants to actually hear the v6 engine you need to take the mid pipe resonator off and the rear battlers and it will sound like a beast as mine does..... lots of popping and roaring !

i had a headlight message pop up on my car as well, i just took it to the dealership as i had warranty.

Do you still have warranty left? I forget exactly what the issue was, but the headlights did look fine when i had the message. do you have the upgraded lights? are they still moving when you turn or start the car?

Never had any fault but this graph seems to refer to air suspension, specifically the suspension raising feature.

Not sure about 43, but on non-AMG models, choosing eco or sport suspension will lower the car, by 10mm I think. Give it a go and see if it still works. Hopefully it's a software issue rather than hardware.

so found out its the compressor burnt out due to the control module having water ingress so shorted the module and kept the compressor running constanly so burned out! mb said they will pay 75% of the compressor costs but 0% of the control module even though this is obviously not suitable as its gets water inside and not sealed properly and will probably happen again ! cost is £580 !

Ouch that's rotten luck. How did the water get into the control module? Through the wheel well? This is not the worst outcome when it comes to air suspension fails, but I'd try to state the case that the control module protection is clearly not up to the task and should be covered as goodwill. Alternatively another dealership may be more sympathetic.

Can you please share a video of how your car sounds? Would love to hear, was thinking about modding my e43 sound as well.
