Hot weather response
Yesterday, after playing golf, I returned to my car and found the windows open a small amount and the sunroof open a hair.
Is this normal? I realize the car is high tech, but this is surprising.

No it’s not normal to open windows and sunroofs on its own. You may be hitting a button on the remote.

Don’t know what you are driving but, holding the unlock button down opens all the windows and sunroof.

at least for the cabriolets if you hold onto the unlock button you can open the car up fully from the outside with the remote. wondering if thats possible with the sedan as well ?

If the unlock key fob button is held down long enough the windows and sunroof will start to open. They will stop when the button is released. That's how it works on my '18 E300 sedan. The OP most likely pocket pushed the key fob button.

Yup, the lock button closes everything and the unlock button opens everything.

Key fobs have a relatively short operating radius of ~8 feet. Also the battery may be close to needing replacement.
