Rear wagon window shade or tint?
We're headed out on a big road trip next month including through some big stretches of desert, and I'm trying to figure out a good solution for minimizing the direct sun.
Option a: trim a front window sunshade and suction cup it. Kinda janky.
Option b: Get a couple of smaller suction shades - like the kind people use for babies - and suction cup those. Also not so nice.
Option c: tint. probably the right thing, but i worry about weird light refractions from the defroster lines.
What do you guys think? Anyone seen a better solution?

Does MB not make the retractable sun shade for the wagon like there is in my sedan? (The roller shade is semi opaque, and you can see through it.)

It's hard to tell what's on the side windows from the factory. It's definitely not clear, can't tell how close to 50% it is.

Check your state regulations. Often 70% light transmission is the darkest legally available for the windshield (below the T) and front side glass.
