air Pessure

I recently purchased a 2021 MB E450 with the 19" AMG rims fitted with P245/40 R19 XL 98h Pirelli CINTURATO P7™ ALL SEASON PLUS II Run Flats. My question concerns the proper tire air pressure

The sticker on the gas cap suggests 36 front, 36 rear
The sticker on thr B pillar suggests 41 front, 47 rear

Any ideas? Thanks

Somewhere between the 2?

I run 260 psi/ 2.6 Bar on my staggerede setup
245/35-20 and 275/30-20

If you look closely at the B-pillar notes, I seem to recall that's the maximum pressure. I don't know why they do that now (wasn't always the case) but hey I'm no expert.

I believe tire reads maximum pressure 50 psi. B pillar may be best.

Use the tire pressure on the gas cap. I always add 10%.

Same issue here. If pressure is set to gas cap numbers, the low tire pressure warning comes on. Was told by dealer to use the pillar sticker values.

The tire pressure listed on the gas cap is the proper pressure. A lot of tire shops get confused by that. see the attached.

TPMS pressure setting can be adjusted for whatever target pressure you want... so if you want to use the filler door, set the pressures COLD and thru the IC reset the TPMS pressure to your "new" values.
