2019 E-450 Wagon
. I do some sailing down at Shake a Leg in Miami on Biscayne bay in both the Freedoms and the 63 foot Impossible dream Catamaran so I am quite familiar with the waters you run your charter boat in.
Yeah, I do Biscayne Bay frequently, but only for pleasure: The commercial charters trips are mostly in Fort Lauderdale up and down the New River.

Anybody else with the 2019 Wagon having a noise from the right rear?
Let us know if you find what it is because my car does the same noise and the dealer has checked it out a few times and found nothing. There was another member here I think it was lanz and he never found out what it was either, a lot of us have that same noise.

Wow, ok so that noise is kind of "Normal" then.
I will certainly go after it, even got an endoscope remote wifi camera I use on the boat for troubleshooting, will mount it inside of the right rear wheel, then have a couple of chubby guys push the **** end down and release, down and release, look for something moving on my iPad screen.
Long shot..

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
Yes, it was me. I had a 2019 wagon with that exact noise - neither I, nor the dealer, nor an independent garage could figure out it. Dealer helped me get trade assist money to get out of it into a GLE. I even took it apart in my driveway to try and figure it out - never did. I recently traded the GLE for another 2019 wagon, which so far does not make the noise. I even took it apart in the driveway - here are pictures of my attempt to figure it out myself... it will give you an idea of what is in the wheel well in case you were curious.

I can provide additional details on what the dealer tried - they worked hard to find it, even used their "Chassis Ear" listening tool and sent it to their body shop.

Removed rear wheel and inner wheel well liner

Fuel filler and vent tube

Not sure what this is - sits above exhaust

Wires coming from inside the car through the wheel well

I thought maybe the vent tubes were causing the noise, so I secured them with cable ties. Didn't help

NorseWagon;
Nice car! I picked up my CPO 2017 Luxury Diamond Silver E400 wagon at the end of August, it came with a complete set of WeatherTech matts, didn't know it till the day after I bought the car. Have already served their purpose, as my wife spilled her coffee all over the passenger side floor. I totally recommend them! pictures show how the fit, kept the pics large, easier to see. Have fun!

I can also highly recommend the WeatherTech front floor mats and rear area cover. I was surprised on how well the front mats fits, and how far up the sides they went. The snaps fit the posts in the floor firmly. Been to the beach several times, and the floor mats did their job.

I also went with their Scratch Protection package - Part Number: SP0190.

I only wish I could have found the same thing for the bumper. I finally ended up purchasing a rectangular strip of clear protection from Amazon and spent a few hours custom cutting a bumper cover. I have 2 large dogs (80lb and 60lb) that love going on drives, and don't alway wait for the rear door to get full open.

When I had a Touareg TDI back in 2011 my wife spilled an entire bag of sour patch kids candy in my car. Took me forever to clean out all the sugar granules. To this day, she cannot eat in my cars

Thx for comments and pictures guys.
Can't say much, had shoulder surgery yesterday, it hurts to type.
Yes, the basic Weather Tech trunk liner, yes, chasing the clunk noise from the rear.
Will come back later the E-450 is now my favorite subject (after the boat)
Will come back stronger in a day or two, will also look for a six pack of cold pain medicine.

Thx, should be okay, nothing broken or bent, just a tune-up using remote robot tools and remote cameras, magic stuff, but it hurts after 4 holes through the flesh.
Back to cars, looking forward to start playing with the Wagen, taking a break in the programing and the menus, found a few useful U-tube videos covering the dash and computer settings, (re-set the transmission memory for the new owner..OK.)

Did MB ever make and publish instructional videos on all the new tech they keep cranking out?

Could not agree more! We have a 2019 E450 Wagon, which my wife drives. It is a “Luxury” trim model, with Air Body Control, Acoustic Comfort Pkg., 18” wheels with non-run flats and it drives like an absolute dream! I enjoy driving it around town, much more than my S560. The big sedan is a truly marvelous highway cruiser over long distances, but other than that, I’d take the wagon hands down. And, congratulations to the OP. I hope you enjoy your wagon as much as we enjoy ours.

So far only driven it a few short trips.
Nice shine on your paint, what did you use to detail it?

It wasn’t me. Similar to your story, we found this gem at a local BMW dealer. It looked just like this when we picked it up. Funny story, the dealer listed it on AutoTrader as being “Selenite Gray MAGNO.” Since I don’t care for the Magno colors, I almost didn’t even go see it. But since I had never driven a wagon, I decided to at least test drive it. Imagine my surprise the first time I set eyes on it and saw it was Selenite Gray METALLIC!

Nice..
Did you purchase extra warranty?
I got 4 years total, hopefully it won't be needed but these cars can send you to the poor house if something goes bad..

My car should have a charger pad for a smart phone, but it is not in the center console between the seats.
Where else can it be? Or did somebody pocket it while it sat in the BMW show room, do they have any value?

Still lots to learn about The Wagon, been watching a few you tube videos on how to program the dash, still recovering from the
shoulder surgery, can't drive for few more days, Damn...

Have not purchased an additional warranty yet, but will probably do so. The car is still under the original warranty. We did have an issue with the bright window surround trim which turned “cloudy.” MB Laguna Niguel, that I had been loyal to for many years, from whom I bought several new cars, pretty much told me to go pound salt. So I went to Fletcher Jones here in Newport Beach and all the trim was replaced under warranty, no questions asked. MB Laguna Niguel lost a very good customer.

Hey for all you Silver & Grey fans out there My wagon is the Diamond Silver and my wife's ML350 is Iridium Silver
here they are together - Diamond silver has a blue tinge to it in certain light. Have used Liquid Glass car polish forever until they went out of business, switched to Finish First, it's 98% as good - Shine lasts forever - The ML is 11 years old and paint looks new.

the wireless charger is in behind the cup holders. it’s the bin on the left side of the little cubby area…in my 17 at least but I don’t think that’s changed

That is a gorgeous wagon! I just love the Luxury styling and I’m not a fan of the Panorama Roof, so your wagon really appeals to me. Love the 18” wheels too!

Looked around today. (Finally feeling better after the darn shoulder surgery, only 6 weeks of physical therapy to go )
Found this little space ahead of the cup holders, and a small rubber pad.

The Weather Tech cargo liner is in place.

Good fit, but even better fit after I removed the factory pad:

Will find ai place to store it I guess, don't need it until I sell the car. (Or sell the dog: The Weather Tech liner is for dog transport to the Bark Park, pretty much daily)

What are you guys using for a windshield sun shade?
Started with eBay, is this one any good?

The shade from my German made Buick did not fit, not even close.

Pretty wide margins for tire pressure being within the normal range...
(I got the 18" tires, should be 34 psi, showing 40-45 psi.)
Will verify the pressure using an old fashioned gauge tomorrow and adjust accordingly.
20% OFF and still showing normal pressure, need to calibrate the system,,
