Seems like tthe leaker posted the leak too late (not exactly complaining, will take what we can get), turns out MB planned to officially release the interior today anyways: https://group-media.mercedes-benz.co...0MDYzMA!!&rs=0

What is the middle thing sticking out on the dash? Is it a clock or something for AMGs? Like the R231 SL?

More. I will keep my "old school Mercedes-Benz" impressions to myself

A couple of observations:
Ar least Kim doesn’t look like a blond bimbo!
In the US I wonder what the average age of the typical E class buyer. Here on Long Island it is north of 60 years so I wonder who Mercedes is targeting with this technology. Some of the features unless you are stopped and not driving seem to me at least are so distracting as to be dangerous
I can’t see any of more friends who have an E class playing video games in their next Mercedes’
I admit that elegance to me in a car is fine woodworking flowing lines and warmth: English cars come to mind. This new Mercedes’ design is sleek but I miss the beautiful wood and stitched dashboard and buttons on my E450.
Wonder what the interior will look like without the hyper screen which I assume is an extra cost option

Thanks for posting.
To me this extremely disappointing: On my 2019 E450 I have the full screen digital. The walnut burl wood and the full screen is elegant as a $70,000 plus luxury car should be.
The picture posted with two screens “planted” on the dashboard without any integration you might expect on a sub compact from Kia but is totally out of place on a $70,000 plus Mercedes

TikTok and Zoom apps coming to 2024 E Class. Link
Most states have laws against texting and driving. A zoom app while driving is more dangerous!

The first time any of my employees do a zoom meeting while driving will be the last time. 1 million under employed lawyers will be making a fortune suing companies who let employees use zoom while driving. Imho of course!

From the press release: "When the vehicle is stationary, the driver can participate in online video conferences via Webex or Zoom, and take photos and videos."

The good thing about this one is that you get more wood than glass. I don't know about you but I need to have wood in an E-Class.

Oh nice so soon, really looking forward to this one, from just the side profile this could be a winner, looks like one of the better MB designs for a long time (imo). From back in the day the uncertainty of even having a W214 to the camo coming off bits by bits the excitement really built for me.

The side profile is very sleek and classy, the interior is inspired by their EQ lineup and even some spy shots showing the front grille is inspired by the EQ lineup.
I mean I get it, they had been so heavily investing resources on the EQ lineup and don't have much allocated for gasoline if any anymore, they have no choice but to utilize some of that design on the W214. Hopefully that doesn't ruin the car but so far just by the side profile, it really is looking good in my opinion.

For me personally is that electric vehicles is a deal breaker it is way too cold here and needing to think about how temperatures affect the battery and adjust the plans accordingly is a deal breaker, when there are other things to deal with.
